Why Delco?

Our Process-Built

Superiority

Heavy-Duty I-Beam Frame Construction

Frame sizes scale from 5″ channel on the D1 up to 12″ 19 lb I-beam on the DD — matched directly to the load rating of each series. No undersized frames on overrated trailers.

3-Way Spreader Gate — Standard

Opens full tailgate, left side, or right side on every model. Maximum unloading flexibility across gravel, dirt, mulch, and mixed material loads — standard, not an upgrade.

Telescoping Hydraulic Cylinder (D5, D6)

Multi-stage extension delivers more lifting force in a more compact package than a single-stage cylinder. Superior dumping performance for dense loads without adding trailer length.

Gooseneck Engineering (D4, D6, DD, DT)

Ball-in-bed connection shifts weight distribution over the tow vehicle’s rear axle. The result: better stability at highway speed, higher payload ratings, and a trailer that handles the way a commercial operator needs it to — mile after mile.

Pull-Back Tarp System — Standard

Every Delco dump trailer ships with a pull-back tarp system as standard equipment. Material stays contained. Load stays dry. No upcharges, no options menus — just a complete trailer ready to work.

Midnight Black Powder Coat — Built to Last on the Outside Too

PBS9-00005. Applied to every model. Corrosion-resistant, UV-stable, and built to look like new long after lesser trailers have faded and rusted. Custom colors available — but the standard is already right.

Common Questions

Answered.

What separates a Delco dump trailer from everything else on the market?
Frame specs matched to load ratings — not averaged down. Standard features that other manufacturers charge extra for. Twenty years of production refinement behind every weld. Delco dump trailers are built to a higher production standard because the operators who buy them hold their equipment to one.

Payload, haul distance, and tow vehicle configuration. Bumper pull uses a standard ball mount — compatible with most half-ton and three-quarter-ton trucks and suited to shorter, lighter-duty cycles. Gooseneck connects via a ball in the truck bed, distributing trailer weight over the rear axle for better stability, higher rated payload, and more controlled handling on long hauls under load.

A telescoping cylinder extends in multiple stages, allowing it to generate higher lifting force from a shorter collapsed length than a single-stage cylinder of equivalent lift. On the D5 and D6, this means maximum dump force without the extended transit height of a tall single-stage setup — critical for operators working under height restrictions or hauling dense material.

3-way spreader gate. Pull-back tarp system. 6′ slide-in rear ramps. Midnight Black powder coat. Electric brakes. These aren’t options — they’re the baseline. Frame, axle, and jack configurations vary by series. See the model pages for complete spec tables.
