Why Delco?

Our Process-Built

Superiority

Full 102" Deckover Width

Every flatbed and deckover model in the Delco lineup runs the full 102″ deck width — no fender wells eating into your load space. That’s 8’6″ edge to edge on every series.

I-Beam Frame Matched to Load Rating

6″ channel on entry bumper pull models. 8″ I-beam on mid-range. 12″ 19 lb I-beam on high-capacity dual tandem models. Frame size scales directly with GVWR — every trailer is built for its rated load, not over-built or under-built.

Low-Pro Deck Option

The FD and F5 low-pro dual tandem models feature a reduced deck height for easier loading of low-clearance equipment. Lower loading angle means safer transitions for tracked equipment, rollers, and heavy machinery.

Hydraulic Dove Tail (FH)

The FH Low Pro Hydraulic Dove features a powered rear section that lowers to ground level — eliminating ramp angle entirely for the safest possible loading of heavy, low-clearance equipment.

Stake Pockets Standard

Stake pockets and rub rail standard on most models. Accepts standard stake boards and pipe toppers for load containment without additional hardware.

Multiple Length Configurations

Models available from 14′ bumper pull up to 28′ hydraulic dove. Single-axle and dual tandem configurations sized to the application — not one-size-fits-all.

Common Questions

Answered.

What's the engineering difference between a flatbed and a deckover?

A standard flatbed puts the deck between the wheel wells — fender geometry intrudes into the usable load width. A deckover puts the deck above the wheels, giving you the full 102″ from edge to edge. When load width, tie-down position, or deck access across the full width matters, deckover is the correct specification.

Lower deck height reduces loading angle for equipment with limited ground clearance. The FD and F5 low-pro models are engineered with a reduced deck height to change the geometry of the loading transition — making it safer and faster for tracked equipment, rollers, and heavy machinery that can’t navigate a steep ramp.

The rear section lowers to ground level under hydraulic power. The approach angle is eliminated — not reduced. Equipment drives or rolls on at ground level. The pivot geometry, hydraulic system, and rear section are engineered as an integrated loading system.

Payload rating and load distribution. Single-axle models carry 14K–20K GVWR and suit most commercial flatbed applications. Dual tandem models (FD at 20/24K, F5 at 30K) distribute weight across two axles for higher payload capacity and better stability under maximum load. If you’re running commercial weight consistently, the axle configuration should match the load cycle.
