At Delco Trailers, we firmly believe in the strength of community and the power of compassion. This October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are thrilled to introduce our “Haulin For Hope”, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to supporting local breast cancer patients receiving care at Texas Oncology.
Why “Hauling for Hope”?
We chose this name because it perfectly represents our mission. We believe that together, as a united community, we can haul hope to those affected by breast cancer. We understand the physical, emotional, and financial toll that breast cancer can take on individuals and their families. That’s why we’re committed to doing our part to support the fighters, honor the survivors, and remember those we’ve lost
Breast cancer treatments can be challenging, often leaving patients feeling cold and in need of comfort. That’s where our compassionate community comes in. We’re reaching out to you, our valued supporters, with a simple request: kindly consider donating new blankets and hats to provide warmth and solace to those on their cancer journey.
We believe in the power of comfort, especially for those going through a tough time. That’s why we’re hosting a drive to collect blankets and hats for breast cancer patients at Texas Oncology. And guess what? You can be a part of it too!
A Convenient Donation Point:
To make your contribution as convenient as possible, we’ve set up a pink-themed donation station right in front of our building. You can’t miss it—it’s a pink dump trailer waiting to be filled with your generous donations. Visit us during our regular business hours, and drop off your heartfelt contributions. Our address: 7701 US-82, Brookston, TX 75421
Other Ways You Can Show Your Support:
- Purchase Pink Delco Shirts for $15: Express your support by wearing our limited-edition pink Delco shirts. Not only will you look fantastic in pink, but every cent from the shirt sales will be channeled directly to Texas Oncology, a leading institution in the fight against breast cancer. By wearing our shirts, you’re making a fashion statement and contributing to a profoundly worthwhile cause. Get your shirts here.
- Buy Pink Ribbons for $5: Add a touch of pink to your everyday attire with our pink ribbons, available for just $5 each. These ribbons are more than just accessories; they symbolize hope, strength, and unity. Your $5 can make a significant difference in the lives of breast cancer patients. All proceeds will directly benefit these individuals at Texas Oncology. You can pick one up when you visit our donation station.
How You Can Make a Difference
We understand that our community’s strength lies in its collective actions. That’s why we’re also reaching out to our employees and community members to ask for their support. Whether it’s a small donation, buying a pink ribbon, or contributing blankets and hats, every act of kindness counts. Your generosity can bring comfort, hope, and smiles to the faces of those facing breast cancer.
Every dollar donated during this Breast Cancer Awareness Month won’t just go far – it’ll go even farther. Delco Trailers is pledging to match the total amount, doubling the impact of your generosity. Together, we can create a substantial impact in the fight against breast cancer!
Breast Cancer Awareness Month isn’t just about spreading the word; it’s about taking real action and making a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease. Join us in our mission to bring comfort, awareness, and hope to our community.
